I'm a Bay Area native with over 25 years of experience helping people feel great about their hair, especially their curls.

After spending 20 wonderful years at Vero for Hair in Oakland, I opened my own private suite on Piedmont Avenue in 2023. It's a calm, comfortable space where we can focus on bringing out the best in your natural texture and finding what truly works for your hair.

I've been lucky enough to learn from some incredible educators along the way, including Lorraine Massey (creator of the Curly Girl Method), Scott Musgrave (of Curly Hair Artistry), and the highly respected team at Allilon in London. 

These experiences have shaped the way I approach curls with both artistry and care. In addition to creating beautiful, balanced shapes for curls, my passion also includes Curl Coaching and teaching clients how to care for and style their hair at home. During these sessions, we take the time to explore your curl pattern, product application, and techniques so you can get consistent, amazing results on your own.

When I'm not behind the chair, you'll often find me outside in the garden or underwater exploring as a scuba diver. Both keep me inspired by the natural beauty and movement that I try to bring into every curl I work with.

  • Jessica is AMAZING. I was lucky enough to see her in late August since her next opening was late September. I went there for a cut since my ends were fried due to a bad balayage so I needed help. I was so nervous since I had gone to my previous salon since 2014 but I found my new favorite place! She sat down and asked me what I did to my hair and how I treated it. I was so surprised because no one had asked me questions about my hair before other than, "how much do you wanna cut it". I had no idea what a devacut was but she explained everything and made sure I had no questions. She suggested products and taught me how to use them so that my curls could stay smooth and not frizzy. She turned my hair around, it's so smooth! She also made sure I knew the proper way to treat my hair after bleaching it and how to maintain the moisture. I'm so glad I went to her she saved my hair and she is super nice and has a great energy. It was such a fun experience! I'm so so so happy I came across her on naturallycurly.com and I will definitely be seeing her for all my cuts and color. Definitely recommend!!!

  • I spent my whole life HATING my hair before I started seeing Jessica Earle. She took my ratty, thirsty, heat-ravaged 2B curls and turned them into long, healthy, shiny locks. Her Sherlock Holmes-level observations about the lifestyle factors affecting my hair's health blew my mind: in our first session she was able to identify a handful of things I was doing daily that were wrecking my hair. On top of that, she is a product expert who can read a label and easily tell you if it's a good fit for your unique hair type. I don't put anything on my head without running it by her first, and she's never steered me wrong. And don't even get me started about her masterful scissor skills. Jessica is the TRUTH: intuitive, observant, kind, and a great listener who knows that "just a trim" means exactly that, and works WITH you to create a style that looks beautiful and LASTS. I hesitated to write this review for years, because she's always been in high demand, and appointments were hard to come by, but she just opened up another day in her schedule, so it's time to share the wealth!

  • I started seeing Jessica Earle 3 years ago on a friend's recommendation. She. Is. A. Treasure. She is thoughtful and intuitive during consultations and will not proceed until she is certain she understands your vision. Her cuts are fabulous and she is particularly talented with curly hair.   • OK this if for the curly haired folks who go after every hair cut go and wash the crud out to let it dry naturally and see what really happened to them and then try not to cry. Jessica, the hair stylist at Vero truly understands curly hair. She dry cut each curl individually. For the first time in years I have a hair cut that looks styled. I have ringlets - not matted frizz, and I have it after every wash and on foggy days too. If you have curls and are tired of frizz go see Jessica.
